For over 50 years, Jagdish Store has been offering the best in home decor and furnishings. The brand has earned a reputation as one of India's finest, largest and most trusted source of premium home furnishings. Along this journey, the JS team identified the need for a skilled workforce in India's design industry. The only way to fill this gap was a pioneering institute that would blend the fundamental principles of design practice with key industry know-how. At the JS Institute of Design (JSID), students are mentored by key industry stalwarts enabling them to learn from successful thought leaders and contribute holistically to all phases of a project, from concept development to onsite management. With design education at its core, embellished with build and lead modules, the curriculum has been crafted to raise a cadre of design leaders prepared for the 21st century.
JSID offers a 12 month postgraduate certificate programme in Interior Design imparting technical knowledge and design principles through a project-based, experiential learning approach, where students are able to undertake interior design projects on residences, hospitality & retail. Complementing their academic experience is a six-month period dedicated exclusively to interning with leading organisations, where they receive exposure to cutting-edge industry trends and consistent mentorship from senior leadership.
JSID also recently partnered with École Intuit Lab Paris, one of the best art and design establishments in France and internationally, to set up its seventh campus in New Delhi. The institute was co-founded in 2001 by Patrick Felices, Clément Derock and Frederic Lalande, industry veterans who had a vision to build a culture — not just a school. A culture where creative minds are free to innovate, create and be part of a design revolution. The school trains professionals in the fields of creation, graphic design, digital and advertising.
École Intuit Lab Delhi (EIL) offers undergraduate diploma programmes in Visual Communication, Digital Product Design, and Game Art & Design, and a postgraduate programme in Advertising Design & Digital Communication.
